Meet Claire
Hi, my name is Claire and I teach the violin and viola. I teach at many schools in Leicestershire and I have my own private practice. I enjoy teaching a wide range of abilities, from beginners to advanced students and I teach adults as well as children. I focus on providing an enjoyable learning experience, tailoring the lessons to each individual. For the more ambitious who would like to take music grades, then I follow the syllabuses for both ABRSM and Trinity exam boards. I also teach theory lessons for those who wish to learn.
I enjoy performing with my string quartet, The School of Baroque for charitable events, weddings and garden parties.
Beginner
Beginner violin lessons are for students who have not played an instrument before and want to learn note reading and some basic skills and techniques.
Intermediate
Intermediate violin lessons are offered to students who have already been practicing the violin for several years and want to improve their skills.
Advanced
Advanced violin lessons are for highly skilled violinists wishing to refine their technique or plan to audition for music schools & competitions.
